Answers to common questions about our after-hours live instructor-led training format.
How does the weekend schedule work?
Each live training event runs over two consecutive weekends (Saturday and Sunday), from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Melbourne time (AEST/AEDT). You get a full week between weekends to absorb the material and prepare questions.
What if I need to miss a session?
Let us know ahead of time and we will provide catch-up materials, session notes, and the opportunity to join a future cohort session at no extra cost.
How does the PECB exam work after live training?
The exam is remote-proctored so you can sit it from home or your office. You have 12 months after the training to schedule your exam at a time that suits you. A free resit is included if you do not pass on your first attempt.
Are there prerequisites for the live training?
Foundation courses have no prerequisites. For Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor sessions, familiarity with the relevant ISO standard (e.g., from the Foundation course) and some practical experience will help you get the most from the training.
How is this different from the self-paced eLearning?
The curriculum covers the same PECB domains, but the live format adds real-time Q&A, group exercises, case study discussions, and direct instructor guidance. Many learners find the accountability and interaction of a live cohort helps them stay motivated and pass the exam on the first attempt.
