CompTIA Authorised Partners are the only sellers approved by CompTIA to issue exam vouchers outside the official store, which means a partner-issued voucher is the same product, sold by a local operator on local terms.

A CompTIA exam voucher is a single-use redemption code that gives you the right to sit one attempt at a specific CompTIA exam. The lifecycle is the same regardless of where you buy the voucher:

Unused, unredeemed vouchers can be refunded within 7 days of purchase, less a 10% admin fee. Once a voucher has been redeemed at CompTIA Central, it cannot be refunded.
CompTIA Authorised Partner is the only category of seller approved by CompTIA to issue exam vouchers outside their own store. The code we send is generated against our partner account and is the same voucher CompTIA would issue if you bought direct. Buying from a non-authorised seller carries the risk that the code is grey-market, expired, or non-refundable on the CompTIA side, with no recourse if anything goes wrong.
No. The voucher you receive from us is tied to our CompTIA Authorised Partner account and is redeemed by you directly at CompTIA Central. If you have a voucher from another seller, redeem it through their issuing channel. Our checkout only sells fresh, unused vouchers.
CompTIA voucher codes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. If CompTIA announces an exam retirement during that window, the retirement is normally scheduled at least six months out, which gives you time to schedule and sit. If we sell you a voucher for an exam that CompTIA retires before your 12-month window closes and you have not used the voucher, contact us and we will work with you on a path forward.
