What is CompTIA Network+?
CompTIA Network+ is CompTIA's networking certification. The current exam is N10-009 (V9), launched by CompTIA on 20 June 2024. Its five domains are networking concepts, network implementation, network operations, network security, and network troubleshooting.
Network+ is accredited by ANAB to ISO/IEC 17024, and CompTIA lists it for the NICE and DoD 8140 work roles of technical support specialist, network operations specialist and system administrator. The retake is included in the Retake Assurance price. With a single voucher, a retake needs a new voucher. Under CompTIA's retake policy there is no waiting period before a second attempt, and a 14-day wait applies before a third or later attempt.
What is the difference between the single voucher and Retake Assurance?
The single voucher gives one person one attempt at the N10-009 exam, for A$549 + GST (A$603.90 inc. GST). Voucher + Retake Assurance, at A$719 + GST (A$790.90 inc. If you pass first time, the retake is simply not used. The retake is included in the Retake Assurance price: the price difference pays for that safety net only.
