CompTIA PenTest+ is CompTIA's penetration testing certification. The current exam is PT0-003 (V3), launched by CompTIA on 17 December 2024. Its five domains are engagement management, reconnaissance and enumeration, vulnerability discovery and analysis, attacks and exploits, and post-exploitation and lateral movement.

The retake is included in the Retake Assurance price. With a single voucher, a retake needs a new voucher. Under CompTIA's retake policy there is no waiting period before a second attempt, and a 14-day wait applies before a third or later attempt.
